The Bureau of Labor Statistics will release\u00a0personal\u00a0income and expenditures data on Thursday. That report will include the core personal-consumption expenditures price index for October, which is the Fed\u2019s preferred inflation measure. It is expected to be up 3.5% from a year earlier, versus an increase of 3.7% in the year through September.<\/p>\n

Other economic data out this week will include the Census Bureau\u2019s new-home sales data on Monday,\u00a0S&P CoreLogic\u2019s Case-Shiller National Home Price Index for September and the Conference Board\u2019s Consumer Confidence Index for November on Tuesday, and the Institute for Supply Management\u2019s Manufacturing Purchasing Managers\u2019 Index for November on Friday.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Monday, 11\/27<\/h2>\n

Zscaler <\/strong>announces results.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Census Bureau<\/strong> reports new-home sales data. Sales of newly constructed single-family homes are expected to decline to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 700,000 in October, from 759,000 in September.<\/p>\n

Tuesday, 11\/28<\/h2>\n

S&P CoreLogic<\/strong> releases its Case-Shiller National Home Price Index for September. Consensus calls for a 4.2% year-over-year jump, compared with a 2.2% rise in August.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Intuit<\/strong>, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Workday, CrowdStrike,
\n NetApp,<\/span>
\n VMware, and
\n Splunk
\n publish quarterly results.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Thursday, 11\/30<\/h2>\n

The Bureau of Labor Statistics <\/strong>releases the core personal-consumption expenditures price index for October. This gauge excludes volatile food and energy prices and is the Federal Reserve\u2019s preferred inflation measure. The index is forecast to rise 3.5% year over year, a decline from September\u2019s 3.7% rise.<\/p>\n

Salesforce<\/strong> announces third-quarter results after the close. Wall Street expects the company to report $2.06 in earnings per share on sales of $8.7 billion. Shares are up 70% this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ulta Beauty<\/strong>\u2019s quarterly results, due out after the market close, will offer investors a look at how much people are spending on discretionary items in this economy. Ulta was a Barron\u2019s stock pick in February.<\/p>\n
