Netflix has a well-rounded lineup for October 2023.<\/p>\n

Horror hit-maker Mike Flanagan (\u201cThe Haunting of Hill House,\u201d \u201cMidnight Mass\u201d) has a new limited series, \u201cThe Fall of the House of Usher\u201d<\/strong> (Oct. 12), an adaptation of Edgar Allan Poe\u2019s classic story, with a modern twist. Bruce Greenwood stars as the corrupt CEO of a family-owned, scandal-plagued pharmaceutical company forced to confront demons from his past when family members start dying \u2014 usually gruesomely. The sprawling cast includes Annabeth Gish, Carl Lumbly, Carla Gugino, Rahul Kohli, Mark Hamill, Henry Thomas and Mary McDonnell.<\/p>\n

\n also has the welcome return of Omar Sy in Season 3 of the French heist thriller series \u201cLupin\u201d<\/strong> (Oct. 5); Season 7 of the raunchy animated comedy \u201cBig Mouth\u201d <\/strong>(Oct. 20); Season 7 of the Spanish high school drama \u201cElite\u201d<\/strong> (Oct. 20); the hedge-fund erotic thriller \u201cFair Play\u201d<\/strong> (Oct. 6); the comedy movie \u201cOld Dads\u201d<\/strong> (Oct. 20), starring Bill Burr, Bobby Cannavale and Bokem Woodbine; and \u201cPain Hustlers\u201d<\/strong> (Oct. 27), a satirical pharma drama starring Emily Blunt, Chris Evans and Catherine O\u2019Hara.<\/p>\n

On the documentary front, there\u2019s \u201cBeckham\u201d<\/strong> (Oct. 4), about soccer superstar David Beckham; \u201cBig Vape: The Rise and Fall of Juul\u201d<\/strong> (Oct. 11); and \u201cLife on Our Planet\u201d<\/strong> (Oct. 25), narrated by Morgan Freeman.<\/p>\n

Netflix is also adding movies such as \u201cDune,\u201d \u201cGladiator\u201d<\/strong> and the first four \u201cMission: Impossible\u201d <\/strong>movies (all Oct. 1).<\/p>\n

And Netflix snuck it in at the end of September, but there\u2019s also a new season of \u201cThe Great British Baking Show,\u201d <\/strong>with new episodes every Tuesday and featuring new co-host Alison Hammond.<\/p>\n
