{"id":21958,"date":"2023-09-25T11:32:27","date_gmt":"2023-09-25T11:32:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/microloannexus.com\/investing\/spaceandpeople-shares-slip-after-widened-pretax-loss-on-higher-costs\/"},"modified":"2023-09-25T11:32:29","modified_gmt":"2023-09-25T11:32:29","slug":"spaceandpeople-shares-slip-after-widened-pretax-loss-on-higher-costs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/microloannexus.com\/?p=21958","title":{"rendered":"SpaceandPeople Shares Slip After Widened Pretax Loss on Higher Costs"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"js-article__body\" itemprop=\"articleBody\" data-sbid=\"MW-BT-CO-20230925-700805\" role=\"document\">\n<p>By Michael Susin<\/p>\n<pre\/>\n<p>SpaceandPeople shares fell after the group reported a widened pretax loss for the first half of 2023 on the back of higher costs.<\/p>\n<p>Shares at 0702 GMT were down 12.5 pence, or 13%, at 82.5 pence.<\/p>\n<div class=\"paywall\">\n<p>The U.K. marketing specialist said Monday that pretax loss for the six months ended June 30 was of 424,000 pounds ($519,018) compared with a loss of GBP377,000 in the same period a year ago.<\/p>\n<p>The group reported an operating loss of GBP355,000 from GBP320,000 on the back of increased expenses.<\/p>\n<p>However, revenue rose 5% to GBP2.5 million.
