From Halloween frights to an existential rom-com to gritty mysteries, Amazon\u2019s Prime Video and Freevee, its free, ad-supported service, have a little bit of everything this October.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re looking for scary stuff ahead of Halloween, the slasher-comedy movie \u201cTotally Killer\u201d <\/strong>(Oct. 6) looks to be the best of the bunch. Kiernan Shipka (\u201cMad Men\u201d) stars as a 17-year-old who travels back in time to 1987 to stop a serial killer before he can start his slaying spree. There\u2019s also \u201cMake Me Scream\u201d<\/strong> (Oct. 3), a celebrity special where teams must navigate scare zones while trying not to scream.<\/p>\n

\n streaming service also has Season 3 of \u201cUpload\u201d <\/strong>(Oct. 20), Greg Daniels\u2019 sci-fi comedy about uploaded consciousness, which this time around finds Nathan (Robbie Amell), who\u2019s been downloaded back to real life, somehow duplicated, with a copy of himself now wandering around in the digital afterlife, causing romantic complications.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Freevee has the second season of \u201cBosch: Legacy\u201d<\/strong> (Oct. 20), the \u201cBosch\u201d spinoff starring Titus Welliver as a private investigator in L.A., while his daughter Maddie (Madison Lintz) charts her path as a police officer.<\/p>\n
